The Russell Square a a suburb of the Bloomsbury area which is within London Borough of Camden. It is an enormous Garden Square. Earls and Duke of Bedford was the person the Square was named after. A lot of tourists to London nowadays would like to stay in the area. There is no problem connecting from Russell square to the other areas of the West End as well as to the other major areas in the Capital. The Russell Square tube which is served by the Piccadilly line trains runs across Central London passing through Holborn, Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Green Park, Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge and Gloucester Road and then continues through other areas to Heathrow International Airport.
The Russell square links to the London West End perfectly and it will just take you only about twenty minutes leisure-walk to move from the Square to the bubbling Oxford Circus and the Marble arch area where the famous shopping streets in the Country are. These shopping streets include Bond Street and Regent Street. The Oxford Street which is one of the famous shopping streets in Europe is also just about 25 minutes way from the Russell square. Many other central London areas can be accessed via buses running from Russell square. The subway is the best option for quick travel in the capital but the bus is better for sightseeing. Euston station is so close to the Russell Square station. The distance is just about 7 minutes walking distance.
Russell Square has a fair share of the Landmarks and the places of interest found in the Bloomsbury district. Located close to the Russell Square is the British Museum which now has over 7 million items from all over the world. With over 150 million items and close to the Russell square is the British Library. Found on the Gower Street is the University College of London which is another important place in the area. The Covent Garden has shops, restaurants, street performers etc. It is located right in the Heart of Central London West End and about twenty minutes from you. The Strand, the Charing Cross and the Leicester Square are all Close to Russell Sqaure.
