The most well liked Bali Hotels are situated in the south of the island with a few others along the west and east coast.  Nusa Dua is the most southern resort that is favored by travellers, although you’ll find other less known ones a bit further south.  The roads round the coast of Bali are generally in fine condition, it is when you leave the main stretch that you’ll find that the roads are very rarely maintained to any standard and are generally just dust tracks frequently impassible by 2 automobiles and you want to be cautious about people and animals that use not only these side roads but the main roads to stroll on. 

Heading along the west coast from Nusa Dua you’ll come to Jimbaran another extremely popular and busy holiday maker resort.  Maybe 10 minutes further along you may pass by Ngurah Rai International airport that’s used as a gateway for the rest of Indonesia.  Kuta and South Kuta are perhaps another twenty minutes drive from here and this is where you will find the most exploited area of Bali.  Not only are the hotels built to accommodate many tourists, but the leisure facilities and the shopping areas very tourist orientated.

The drive from here to the tip of the west coast will take you past some of the more up market holiday maker destinations of Bali.  Legian and Seminyak are situated along the west coast and offer more magnificent accommodation including private beaches, gardens and swimming pools.  The rest of the drive up the west coast will take you past many places to remain, but they aren’t the well known or well-liked resorts or hotels.  For the tourist who favors secluded areas there’ll be plenty of places to stay along this western section of Bali without all the trappings and crowds of the big visitor places. 

From here you might head inland in an easterly direction and you will come to Ubud which is situated in the mountainous region of Bali.  The landscape is worlds apart compared to the seaside resorts.  Here you will be encircled by lush tropical rain forests with stunning views of the mountains and volcanoes.  Driving further east you’ll shortly come to the eastern shore, where there are a few popular resorts.  As with the resorts further up the west coast you will find these are more expensive than the southern areas due to the fantastic diving locations around this area.  The widely known resorts on the east coast are Candi Dasa and Sanur.  Once you get to Sanur you can take a detour inland and come to Denspanar, the capital of Bali.  Though this is not really a preferred holiday maker destination due to its absence of beaches, night life and shopping malls, it remains worth taking time out to explore. 

From Denspanar you would drive south again and before you get to Nusa Dua where you started from, you’ll pass Tanjung Benoa a very popular, but very up market area.  Tanjung Benoa is located on the tip of the peninsula and has striking views of the sea. 

As far as the most visited and popular places in Bali go, those are the better known ones, but Bali offers so much more.  There are such a lot of more Bali hotels situated all around the island and on some of the smaller islands just round the coast.  Bali is definitely an island to be explored and taking one of the Bali Tours to one of the lesser know towns will give you a much better comprehension of the real Balinese lifestyle .

As this doesnt help you whilst you are in holiday it is best to go out and just get a cheap camera until you can get home and have it replaced as then at least you have something to take pictures with when you are away. Most companies will not give you the money back from the camera that you would have bought out there but it can really help when it comes to taking pictures on your holiday.

Munich was home to the 1972 Olympic Games and the Olympic Park that was constructed for this event is still in use today and has some type of activity taking place there on more than 200 days out of the year. If you are going to need the car for a period of more than two days then you should be able to get a company that should be able to offer you a cover charge for the period than the usual daily rates and charge per extra km. The longer the period the lower the cover charge should become, that is when compared to the daily rate.

You might also want to know if the cars have any extra features that you are going to need. A good car hire company will have roof racks for luggage and maybe sports equipment or extra storage facilities. They should be available if you need them even if they might not be for free.

Personally I’m of the opinion that car agencies should as a matter of routine be able to set you up for the itinerary of your stay. That is book your flights, tours, cruises and so on. Although this will mean you paying more money. They should be able to tell you clearly the terms and conditions regarding your lease.

I’m particularly referring to the penalty clauses that most agencies tend brush over or briefly mention. You should be clear as to what these are and how they affect you. Even though I will not list the popular ones I will just mention them quickly The most commonly used agencies in the country are Avis, RAV, Hertz and Budget. Tahoe has a lot to offer to tourists. You have to remember that the winter Olympics was once done here and this was the setting of some television shows and movies. Given its ideal location, you can enjoy a Lake Tahoe Holiday regardless of when you decide to come here. 

Since it is already December, one thing that a lot of people will be doing is skiing. Right now, there are over a dozen ski resorts in Lake Tahoe. A majority if these just opened in the last week of November and these will open until April or May of next year. 

You can learn how to ski and go down the slopes if you are an experienced skier. Another option is to replace those skis with a snowboard or tube which could be just as fun when you are in the snow. 

If you decide to come here next summer, most resorts there have equipment you can borrow. These include a water ski, parasail, kayak and sail boat. You can also do some snorkeling since there are beaches nearby and a cruise that offers dinner once a week. 

For those who want take a tour by air, you can enjoy a helicopter tour or a hot air balloon ride. Such trips can only get off the ground assuming that there is good weather otherwise the trip will have to be rescheduled. The helicopter tour to and from the airport will be an hour. The hot air balloon ride lasts about 4 hours. 

There are also guided tours provided on land. You can go with a guide as you go hiking along a trail or ride a carriage that is pulled by a beautiful 2,000 pound Blond Belgium horse. As you are riding, the tour guide will give you a brief lesson in Tahoe history. Sadly this tour is not available right now since it only operates from May to October. 

Although you won’t be able to see that much if you are cruising, you will be surrounded by the breathtaking view of the mountains and trees. You will get to see Emerald Bay, the Fannette Island, the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Vikingsholm Castle which the M.S. Dixie II and the Tahoe Queen offers when you take a 2 hour sightseeing cruise. 

Throughout the year, various races, competitions, dances and events are done. Already planned for next is the NBC Sports 2009 American Century Celebrity Golf Championship. Although the date has not yet been formalized yet but it could fall in July, you can expect big names like Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, the NFL’s Ben Roethlisberger, Billy Joe Tolliver, Jerry Rice and Tony Romo, NHL great Jeremy Roenick, and from Hollywood, John O’Hurley, Kevin Nealon and Ray Romano are expected to attend. 

So you don’t miss out in any of the festivities, do some research online and try to include this as part of your itinerary when you decide to have a Lake Tahoe Getaway. You may not always participate in it but at least you can actually watch it.

A lot of people come to Lake Tahoe during the winter because it is considered to be a skiing paradise. But during the summer, there are also activities you can enjoy which means you can consider spending a Tahoe Getaway when school is over. 

One adventure you can try out is horse back riding. There are ranches within the area so you can visit one and borrow a horse from the stable. Once you are on the saddle, you can gallop along the trail and see the lake as well as the snow capped mountains. 

There are also trails for those who want to ride a bike or take a hike. Some are long while others are short so you can choose between those that are 2 miles long or longer. This is part of the 150 mile Tahoe Rim Trail that encircles the lake.

When you see Lake Tahoe, you will feel the blue water inviting you to go for a swim. If you go a few yards out, you will even see fish and a few other objects 70 feet below by using a snorkel and pair of goggles. Once you get out of the water, you can lie down in the sand and get a tan. 

If you want to work up an appetite, you can do some kayaking or parasailing that you can rent from nearby stores. 

One of the key attractions in Lake Tahoe is the cruise. There are two vessels to choose from namely the M.S. Dixie II and the Tahoe Queen. Both of these go on a 2 hour scenic cruise daily with a dinner cruise offered once a week. 

While in town, you might as well do some sightseeing. Given its strategic location between California and Nevada, you can try your luck at the nearby casinos, shop for souvenirs at the local gift shop and visit the Ponderosa Ranch which is a theme park inspired by Bonanza, a television show which was quite a hit in the 1950’s and 1960’s. 

Another attraction in Tahoe is Vikingsholm castle. It is a 38 room estate that resembles an actual 1,200 year old Viking castle. 

You shouldn’t miss the sunset in Lake Tahoe and the best place to get the view is to up the mountain. There are trams or cable cars and gondolas which can take you all the way up. There are shops, sports facilities and restaurants so there are other things you can do instead of just walking through the woods. 

If you want to see the Tahoe and the surrounding area much better, there is no other way but to get a good view by air. There is a hot air balloon tour and a helicopter ride. These tours are only open subject to the weather conditions so if it is too windy, you will have to reschedule your little trip. 

A Stay in Lake Tahoe is just the thing you need if you want to spend time with nature. There are properties you can rent along the lake as well as those secluded in the forests which is far different than staying in a hotel. So the next time you are planning a family adventure, consider a Lake Tahoe Getaway.

There are many benefits to this tour, including priority seating at one of the stage shows, tips and suggestions for getting the most out of your Disney World Holiday, a brief history of the park, priority seating at one of the many restaurants, instruction in using FastPass, two bonus FastPass tickets, and much more. This tour lasts about two and a half hours, and costs $25 per person.

A Walk in Walt’s Footsteps focuses on the vision of Walt Disney, and is not really suitable for small children. Filled with history and trivia about the park, this tour lasts for more than three hours, and costs $49 per person. The main feature of this tour is your peek at the exclusive Club 33. 

Again, you should definitely consider making one of these tours part of your Disney World experience – especially if this will be your first trip to Disneyland. You may see things and learn things that you would not see or learn without the benefit of the tour!

At first glance, the Eiffel Tower looks as though it is firm, immovable and unchanging. Engineer and architect Gustave Eiffel is best known for his namesake monument, the Eiffel Tower Paris France, but it wasn’t his only magnificent feat. Today in China, a man of character is admired as one who possesses the refined quality of Chinese tea: pure, balanced, and able to put people at ease.

Ancient Chinese scholars admired that friendship between real friends should be one that was pure as a cup of Chinese tea. Being with such a friend you don’t have to worry about being manipulated or even cheated.

Chinese like to have a peaceful mind, and many find it in tea. As a well-known Tang dynasty poet wrote:”I woke up to a good cup of Chinese tea, and it gives me peace inside and out; with it I won’t be annoyed by anything, even it’s the whole world turning its back on me.”.Obviously, the poet had found his inner peace in drinking tea.

Indeed, tea provided endless inspiration to many poets from ancient China. All his life, the Qing dynasty emperor Qianlong wrote a total of 300 poems on tea. When the emperor decided to lay down his duty at the age of 85, his ministers begged him:”Please stay. The country can’t live a day without your majesty”. To which the emperor replied:”But your majesty can’t live a day without tea”.”

Tea contributed to the development of Chinese literature in more ways than one.

Today Chinese literature classic of ‘A Dream in the Red Mansion’ is known the world over. However, some experts say the book wouldn’t make such a hit if it didn’t elaborate on the extravagant tea parties enjoyed by the Chinese upper class.

The descriptions of the tea parties allow us better understand how tea was prepared in ancient China and what varieties the Chinese most appreciate.

If you visit the Palace Museum in Taipei, you’re sure to be amazed by a beautiful, 800-year-old scroll painting that depicts a grand Chinese tea party hosted by a Song dynasty emperor.
